A clear agreement

Terms of use.

Subscriptions, synchronization, and the choices that affect your files.

Effective 20 October 2026

Publisher and agreement

These terms govern your use of Easy Cloud Sync and this website, provided by Alexandr Ponomarenko, Ukraine (the “publisher,” “we,” or “us”). By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Microsoft Store terms and applicable third-party terms also apply to their respective services.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement, or use the app with the authorization required by applicable law. If acting for an organization, you must have authority to do so.

License and permitted use

Subject to these terms, applicable Microsoft Store license terms, and any required active entitlement, you may install and use the app for lawful synchronization of files you own or are authorized to access and modify. You remain responsible for permissions, organizational requirements, intellectual-property rights, and the content you transfer.

Do not use the app to gain unauthorized access, bypass provider restrictions, infringe others’ rights, or interfere with another service. Your files remain yours; these terms do not transfer ownership of them to the publisher.

Pro, trials, and billing

Easy Cloud Sync Pro access is required to preview and run sync jobs. Pro is offered as an annual Microsoft Store subscription when available. Availability, local pricing, currency, taxes, eligibility, trial length, and renewal terms are displayed by Microsoft Store before you confirm a purchase. The Store offer you accept governs those commercial details.

A one-month trial may be offered to eligible users. If the accepted offer includes recurring billing, the subscription renews and a trial may become paid unless you cancel or turn off recurring billing as described in that offer. Review the amount and renewal date shown by Microsoft before confirming.

Manage cancellation and recurring billing in Microsoft Services & subscriptions. Microsoft’s cancellation guidance explains available controls. Cancellation takes effect according to the offer and Microsoft’s process; access normally continues until the entitlement expires unless the Store states otherwise. Refund eligibility is determined through Microsoft Store and applicable law. Cancelling does not automatically guarantee a refund, and nothing here removes mandatory refund or withdrawal rights.

Uninstalling the app, deleting its data, or disconnecting a provider does not cancel a subscription. If Pro access expires or cannot be verified, new preview and sync operations may be unavailable. Losing Pro access does not itself delete synchronized files. Pro does not include cloud-storage capacity or a subscription to Microsoft, Google, or another storage provider.

Synchronization and deletion

Synchronization changes real files. It is not an independent backup. Depending on the mode, paths, conflict policy, and plan you approve, the app can create, replace, or permanently delete content. You are responsible for choosing the correct source and destination, understanding the preview, and keeping an independent backup of important data.

  • One-way upload or download: copies in the chosen direction and leaves items found only on the receiving side alone. Existing files may be overwritten according to the plan and conflict policy.
  • Two-way: copies missing items to either side and resolves differences according to the selected conflict policy. It does not infer that an item should be deleted merely because it is missing on the other side.
  • Mirror: makes the destination match the source, including deletion of destination-only items after confirmation.

Review the exact affected paths and warnings. A confirmation is authorization for those operations, not a guarantee against mistakes, concurrent changes, software errors, interruptions, or provider failures. Local deletions can bypass the Windows Recycle Bin. Google Drive deletion operations can permanently delete items rather than move them to trash. Provider version history or recovery may be unavailable.

Stopping or cancelling a run does not roll back copies, overwrites, or deletions that already completed. A partial or failed run can leave the two sides different. Review the resulting files and make a fresh preview before proceeding.

Google-native documents

Supported Google-native documents can be exported into local file representations when the provider makes an export available. An exported file is not a guarantee of an identical or lossless copy of the native document.

Native-document write-back is off by default. If you explicitly enable it for existing mapped Docs, Sheets, or Slides, importing an edited local representation can replace the entire cloud document and lose Google-specific features, comments, formatting, or collaboration state. Test with disposable copies and retain independent originals. Deleting a native original requires separate confirmation. Availability and conversion behavior depend on Google.

Providers and availability

The app depends on Windows, Microsoft Store, your network and storage devices, and third-party provider APIs. Their terms, permissions, quotas, outages, organization policies, and changes can limit features or prevent a connection or transfer. A Pro subscription does not guarantee uninterrupted provider access, unlimited transfers, particular throughput, or compatibility with every file or account.

The current app starts syncs manually. It does not offer scheduled, continuously watched, or always-on background synchronization. Updates may change supported behavior; material policy changes will be published with an updated effective date.

Privacy and support

The privacy policy explains file access, account information, token storage, transfers, and removal of local data. Removing a connection does not necessarily erase cached tokens or revoke the provider authorization. Synced files, local app data, cloud access, and Store subscriptions each have separate removal or cancellation steps.

Support is through GitHub Issues as described on the support page. It is a public channel. Do not disclose confidential data, credentials, or sensitive vulnerability details. There is no private contact channel, guaranteed response time, or commitment to recover lost files.

Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the app is supplied “as is” and “as available,” without a promise that it is error-free, continuously available, or suitable for every purpose. Keep backups and review operations before applying them.

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss arising from incorrect folder selection, approved destructive operations, provider failures, or absence of independent backups. These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or gross negligence, and do not remove mandatory consumer guarantees.

Applicable law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, subject to any mandatory protections, jurisdiction rules, and consumer rights that apply where you live. Nothing here requires you to give up rights or remedies that cannot be waived under applicable law.

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date. Changes do not retroactively remove rights for an existing purchase. Review material changes before using an updated version. Contact the publisher through a non-sensitive GitHub issue if you have a question.
